UDDAJÄMT - History and music
UddaJämt was formed some years before the millenium. The group consists of Ulf Oldberg (clarinet and flute), Bosse Olofsson (violin, mandola, mandoline, harmonica, rhythm instruments) and Minge Stellin (violin). The music is suggestive and boarderless and inspire boarderless dancing.
UddaJämt is based on tradition, especially polska tunes from Medelpad county. However, a significant part of the repertoire consists of tunes from our souls, often polska tunes with influences from the past and from the world around us.
UddaJämt is native born at the Folk music house/Skeppsholmsgården in Stockholm where you often can hear us playing to danse.
